As I mentioned in my post of 17th January (https://www.jelfgroup.com/blog/2011/01/pensions-bill-off-and-running/) the pensions bill is now making it’s way through to the stages of legislation.
I have just received a very useful update from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) on this, and the end date for the process of deliberations appears to be around the 17th March, so we have a bit of a way to go yet.
The DWP also very kindly provided me with a link to the 4 hours of debate. I must admit I have not read this (and to be frank, probably don’t intend to), but aware some of the followers of this blog may wish to do so.
