Keeping your employees healthy, contented, and motivated are key components to a successful business, and this is ever more true in today’s difficult economic climate. To assist employers in this aim, Jelf will devote an entire event to these vital employment topics. To help us deliver these important messages, we are delighted to announce two high profile guest speakers to our seminar programme.
When considering your employees health and wellbeing, it is necessary to have an understanding of the wider healthcare landscape. Who better to guide delegates through this area than Professor Robert Winston, well known to millions from his many successful health-related TV series.
For motivation, few can match the internationally recognised presenter, trainer, and best-selling author, Paul McGee, The SUMO Guy. For fuller details on both speakers, and the full event agenda, please see below.
To compliment the theme of the day, our venue for this event is the superb facilities of the Wellcome Collection in Central London, which also houses a huge collection of medical objects as diverse as diagnostic dolls, a mummified human, Japanese sex aids, and Napoleon’s toothbrush!
The venue is centrally located, and very close to mainline, tube and bus connections.

Keeping employees healthy and contented are key components to any successful business. Employee benefits can play a major role in achieving this aim, but often some of the features of such packages remain unused.

Session 3: UK Health: ‘Is National Healthcare Threatened?’
We are delighted to welcome Lord Winston to our seminar programme. Lord Winston is known to millions through his popular science programmes for the BBC, Discovery and ABC networks, including the acclaimed series ‘The Human Body’, which collected a record three BAFTA’s. He is also a prolific author of publications for both the medical fraternity (he has around 300 scientific publications in peer review journals) and also for lay readership, and holds many official posts with well known institutions.
There are few individuals better placed to look at the changing face of healthcare in the UK, and what impact this may have on employers and employees alike.
