Full agenda:
Human Capital: “The 6 Keys to a Winning Teamâ€
Top business coach, author, and professional speaker Andy Gwynn’s session will focus on how to enrol, inspire, & lead your team to massive R.O.H.I (Return On Human Investment). Andy believes that most businesses make employment decisions based on candidate skills, but then sack the same individual because of their attitude. This session will aim to help you manage this important dynamic in your organisation. Powerful case studies will evidence the value of this approach.
Speaker: Andy Gwynn, Business Coach, U-Can (UN) Ltd
Employment Law: “It’s not magic, it’s just employment lawâ€
Given the Advocate General appears intent upon rewriting the law on holiday pay, Tim will discuss the mysteries contained in this latest case to reach the European Courts, escapology and the National Minimum Wage, extracting stressed rabbits from top hats and other tricks of his trade including lessons to be learned from some recent cases which have caught his eye.
Speaker: Tim Randles, Associate Director, Penningtons Manches LLP
Employee Benefits: “Now you see it…â€
Steve will use what little magic he has to updates delegates on the latest consultations and outcomes that will shape the Employee Benefits world in 2014 and beyond. Updates on the DWP Charges Consultation (and the impact on Auto-Enrolment strategies), Childcare Vouchers, The new Health and Work Service (formerly the Independent Assessment Service) and the tax break for medical interventions will form the centre piece of this particular trick.
Speaker: Steve Herbert, Head of Benefits Strategy, Jelf Employee Benefits
Mind Reading: “The inner workings of the mindâ€
Ever wished you could get inside the minds of your employees? Well our special guest speaker can do just that! We are delighted to welcome Graham Jolley, the internationally acclaimed mind-reader, to round off our event. With a career spanning more than thirty years, Graham’s dedication to the art of performance is truly impressive. His unique style has been continually honed and he has worked with both famous faces and high profile business executives. His particular brand of wit completes his act and his audiences find themselves enthralled, amused and thoroughly bewildered.
Speaker: Graham Jolley, Psychological entertainer
