A bit more on the CIPD engagement survey…

On Monday this week I added a brief post on the above survey.

One of the interesting facets of this survey is that employees new to their job role are more likely to be highly engaged than those that have been with the employer for 6 months or more. Since the latter grouping will usually be the largest, it makes it even more important for employers to understand, and tackle, low engagement.

Some of my thoughts are included in the above link, and this is certainly a subject we will return to again on the blog and at seminars.
