Government Sickness Absence Review

No one would disagree with Dame Carol Black’s observation that “unduly prolonged sickness absence from work is wasteful & damaging”. Therefore, the fundamental recommendations to encourage retention in the work-place will be welcome in reducing costs of absence & improving overall workplace wellbeing.
