News just in - we now have an official challenger to The National Employment Savings Trust (NEST).
Presumably this is another ‘one size fits all’ scheme.
The attached link to Professional Pensions highlights that NOW Pensions will be launched next year.
I obviously don’t know much more about this subject at present, but will look into this in greater detail before it is launched. I will post my thoughts here, and also cover this in our seminars.
One point that does present itself though. This appears to be a trust based scheme - and as such might have expected to be able to offer refunds for early leavers. However The Minister for Pensions comments that I covered earlier today may well have dealt a blow to that aspiration.
