Just a quick note to remind you that the tax-relief rules on Childcare Vouchers are due to change on the 6th April (and needless to say the change is generally not for the better!). For the background to this see my post https://www.jelfgroup.com/blog/2011/01/childcare-vouchers-where-are-we-now/
This is only really important to higher or top-rate taxpayers. These groupings will find the maximum level of tax and national insurance free Childcare Vouchers they can elect to take post 6th April will fall significantly.
However, if higher or top rate taxpayers either commence Childcare Vouchers and/or increase their commitment to the current maximum level before that date, then they can continue to benefit from the current levels of tax relief (in fact improved levels as National Insurance is set to rise), as can the employer in terms of more employer National Insurance saved.
Thought this was worth another note as the date approaches.
Best regards
Steve
