Jelf to boost its HNW proposition

with the appointment of a specialist development director

In a move aimed at boosting its mid and high net worth proposition, Jelf Insurance Brokers has appointed Tony Parker as Business Development Director - Private Clients.

Reporting directly to Phil Barton, CEO (Insurance), Tony will lead the design and implementation of the Group’s mid and high net worth strategy, which includes ambitious plans to break into the London market and develop an integrated proposition for the Group’s financial planning, healthcare and employee benefits clients.

As a specialist in the sector, Tony’s experience spans more than 30 years in roles at leading organisations including Oval, JLT, Willis and HSBC.

Tony explains, “It is a great time to be joining Jelf. The ethos and passion within the business to create an outstanding proposition that is ahead of the market, coupled with the support to develop a strategy to achieve it, presented a fantastic opportunity. I am confident we will build a market leading business that delivers value to colleagues, clients, prospects and partners on local, regional and national levels.”

Phil comments, “Our aim is to be the leading insurance broker in the communities in which we operate and we want to raise the bar in the MNW/HNW arena. Tony’s commitment to client service and technical excellence is exceptional and directly in line with what we are achieving within our business. I have no doubt that Tony will deliver what we set out to achieve.”
