Jelf Lampier takes part in the 'Run for the Future'

Congratulations to the team from Jelf Lampier who took part in the 'Run for the Future' event last Sunday, 18th September, to help raise money for prostate cancer research.  

Ben Riddell, Alison Forster, Sam Hill, Warren and Charlie Miles, Barry Davis and Melissa McNulty all braved the blustery and wet conditions to complete the 5km run or walk.  Melissa and Barry ran the course, on and around the Downs, while the rest of the team walked the course and at one time had a good soaking! Special mention to Warren's young son Charlie who part walked the course with his Dad (about two-thirds on his Dad's shoulders!).

 

Organised by Rotary in Bristol, the 'Run for the Future' helps to raise much-needed funds for the Bristol Urological Institute's Prostate Cancer Research Fund at Southmead Hospital.
