Peter Stoll | Director

Peter Stoll is a Director of Jelf Manson and founder of our specialist recruitment insurance team. Peter's career started at Norwich Union (now Aviva) from 1977. In 1981 Peter set up his own insurance brokerage in Manchester. He wrote his first policy for a recruiter in November 1981. Since then Peter has become one of the leading authorities on insurance for the recruitment industry.

In February 1989, Peter merged his business into Manson Insurance Brokers and became a Director and Shareholder the same year. He set up the dedicated recruitment team in April 2008 and now acts for many of the UK's top 250 recruitment businesses. He is a member of APSCO and TEAM.

John Aspinall | Director

John is a Chartered Insurance Broker who has been with the business since 2003. He was appointed a Director in 2008. Prior to joining Jelf he was the Underwriting Manager for two years at AXA at what was then known as their SPIRIT Underwriting Unit controlling £100m GWP of commercial insurance business. Previously, John has spent more than 16 years in various underwriting roles for Provincial Insurance, Independent Insurance Company and AXA.

Simon China | Senior Account Manager

Simon has been at Jelf since 2007, having previously been at Aon and Caunce O'Hara. He started at Jelf as an Account Handler, focused on managing our existing recruitment client book. He has since been promoted to Senior Account Handler, and more recently to Team Leader, handling some of our largest recruitment agency and umbrella company clients (both new and existing).

Malcolm Barry | Senior Account Executive

Malcolm has over 20 years experience in general insurance and is an original member of the Jelf recruitment team since it was formed in 2008. Malcolm has a client facing role and deals with recruitment, umbrella and payroll companies of all specialisms and sizes.

Michael Brown | Account Handler

Mike has worked in the Insurance industry since 2001, having previously worked at Aon and Willis. He has experience in Commercial Insurance and in August 2013 became a member of the Jelf recruitment team.

Gary Brotherton | Account Handler

Gary is a Chartered Insurance Broker with over 10 years’ experience in general insurance. He is responsible for looking after the day to day handling of recruitment, umbrella and payroll companies of all sizes.

Jo Dixon | Account Handler

Jo joined the company in 2002. She started on a temporary contract covering maternity leave, but has been here ever since. In 2009 she began working for our specialist recruitment team, looking after the day to day requirements of clients from the recruitment sector.

Lisa Whyment | Account Handler

Lisa has been with Jelf since November 2007, first working in our SME business unit before joining the specialist recruitment team as a Commercial Account handler in April 2010. She looks after Jelf's recruitment scheme for single person limited companies. Previously, Lisa worked at Swinton Insurance and Country Mutual as a Commercial Account handler. She has also worked at CIS as a personal lines customer service adviser.

Martin Pearse | Account Executive

Martin joined Jelf at the start of 2012 and is responsible for the day to day handling of recruitment and umbrella companies of all sizes and classes of business. Martin previously worked as a Corporate Account Handler at Bluefin for over 6 years following his graduation from the University of Nottingham. After achieving the Chartered Insurance Institute Rising Star Award in Lincolnshire, he decided to relocate to the North West and bring his knowledge and skills to the Jelf Recruitment Team.

Lynda Kitson | Account Handler

Lynda joined the Jelf Recruitment team in March 2015, having been at Willis for over 11 years. Lynda is a qualified Chartered Insurance broker, having gained 25 years commercial broking experience. Lynda deals with the day to day insurance needs of a broad portfolio of new and existing recruitment agencies and umbrella companies.

Sandy Sharma | Senior Account Executive

Sandy Sharma has over 35 years experience in the insurance industry of which 30 years have been dedicated to insurance for recruiters. He is well respected in the recruitment industry and brings his wealth of experience to Jelf Manson. Sandy has a client facing role and also deals with umbrella/payroll companies. Based in London, Sandy gives Jelf Manson a presence in the South.

Chris McAndrew | Account Handler

Chris joined Jelf in November 2015 with over 5 years commercial insurance experience, having previously worked at Towergate and Bollingtons. Chris joins the recruitment team looking after a varied range of recruitment clients incorporating most classes of insurance.
