Established in 1981, Manchester-based Manson Insurance Brokers had a specialist team which was at the vanguard of recruitment insurance for a number of years.

Leading national insurance broker Jelf acquired Manson in 2008. The Jelf Manson recruitment team now shares its knowledge and support with a regional network of Jelf specialists.


A deep understanding of the sector and, most importantly, the needs of our customers are central to our offering – and our success. We use our expertise to negotiate the best deals and terms on behalf our clients, taking care of all the paperwork and offering advice and insight at every stage.

We regularly attend industry events, listening to the concerns and issues of recruitment professionals. As an affiliate member of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) and a service provider to TEAM (The Employment Agents Movement), we are ideally placed to respond to the needs of recruitment professionals, helping the industry meet the challenges of the modern workplace. As part of Jelf we can take advantage of enhanced buying power, as well as a comprehensive local network to deliver advice and support to recruitment professionals across England and Wales.

In October 2011, Jelf's insurance business was awarded Chartered Status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). It’s an achievement that recognises the group’s commitment to the professional development of its people and to delivering outstanding levels of service to its clients.
