Just a quick post this.
As most will be aware, the earnings thresholds for Auto Enrolment (AE) will be updated each year.
The proposal for the next tax year is as follows (2012/13 figures in brackets)
- Automatic Enrolment Earnings Trigger: £9,440 (£8,105)
- Qualifying Earnings Band (Lower Limit): £5,668 (£5,564)
- Qualifying Earnings Band (Upper Limit): £41,450 (£42,475)
These will require approval from both Houses of Parliament (not yet given).
The intended date for these to come into force in 6th April 2013.
