After what seems an absolute age, The Pensions Bill (which amongst other things contains the final legislation around Auto-enrolment) has finally made it through both Houses of Parliament, and is now awaiting Royal Assent.

Clearly, we now need to allow a little time for the dust to settle, and the pension industry in particular will need to scrutinise the final legislation for any last minute changes of significance.
Notwithstanding the above, UK Plc can now get on and plan for auto-enrolment with a degree of certainty (which is a nice change). Given that we are less than 12 months from implementation, this is not a moment too soon.
