Following its annual Sales Conference, Jelf is donating £500 to international charity Save the Children.
The conference, which took place at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales was attended by over 350 members of Jelf staff from across the UK and provided a forum for industry leaders and exhibitors to network and discuss ideas of the day. One of the attendees, Matt Crabtree, founder and principle partner of Positive Momentum, who acted as keynote speaker at the event, kindly offered to donate £500 from his fee to a charity of Jelf’s choosing.
Alex Alway, Jelf’s CEO commented: “Save the Children works closely with our Employee Benefits business and as such it is a pleasure to be able to donate such a fantastic amount of money to the organisation. The charity reaches out to the most vulnerable children and works in more than 120 countries to save children’s lives and fight for their rights. We are delighted to be able to show our support for such a worthy cause.”
Helen Johnson, Fundraising Manager from Save the Children added: "Both here in the UK and around the world, poverty continues to blight the lives of millions of children. We know that every child has potential, and is born to shine. Jelf'songoing support will help us continue our vital work, ensuring all children get the basic things they need to thrive, no matter where they are born".
