As our Account Handler you will work as part of a team to provide support and assistance to our clients with regards to their insurance. You will manage the renewal of policies and liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure the client receives the best service possible at all times.

The successful candidate will report to Louise Price, Team Leader for the Specialist Business Unit. To be considered for the role you should be able to demonstrate the following during the assessment process:

  • Experience with a commercial insurance brokerage role
  • Ideally Cert CII qualified
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team


As a member of the Jelf Small Business Unit team you will provide support and assistance to our Specialist Business Unit clients. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients regarding changes to circumstances

  • Coordinating with clients on their policy renewals to strict deadlines

  • Prioritising own workload

  • Communicating with insurers to advice on the status of policies

  • Dealing with payments and account queries where necessary
