As our Commercial Account Handler you will understand clients insurance needs and identify the correct insurer market for them. You will act as the primary point of contact for client servicing issues, establishing effective relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will report to Steven Pring, Team Leader.
Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Present and broke standard risks to the relevant insurers to enable a quotation to be provided
- Take ownership of their range of accounts and work closely with the Account Executive to ensure client receives the required service
- Liaise with Account Executives to ensure client receives the required service
- Providing relevant information to the sales department to ensure that sales opportunities are realised
- Prioritising workload and client requests
- Dealing with client enquiries and providing them with professional support and accurate information
- Establish effective relationships with clients, providers and colleagues to ensure excellent service is provided
- Ensuring the efficient and accurate production of all reports and correspondence to clients
- Developing and promoting the Jelf proposition to maximise opportunities
- Suggesting opportunities to help improving operating efficiencies
To be considered for this role you should have experience in a similar role, in Commercial, Small Business or Personal Lines. We are looking for someone with a confident and professional attitude coupled with enthusiasm.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Cert CII or Dip CII qualified
- Proven ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues at all levels
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience working in a similar role or within a broking environment
- Be well organised and work well under pressure
- Must be motivated with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft programs
