A study carried out by Scottish Widows provides a unique illustration of the nation’s psychological and financial preparedness for later life. Its findings highlight a concerning trend around retirement planning and importantly, a lack of it. Previous generations have been supported by paternalistic employers and generous final salary pension schemes. But are the next generation doing enough as individuals to shape their retirement dreams?
