On Friday 25th November we ventured underground to the Churchill War Rooms for the final two seminars of 2016. This was a fantastic day where delegates learnt how they could do even more to help their employees and also managed to see the map room where Churchill strategised for the war!
Once again Jelf’s Steve Herbert took to the stage to discuss the world of employee benefits and he was even able to help delegates understand what the Autumn Budget Statement that had been released two days prior to our event might mean for their employees. (Almost seems as if we specifically planned an event straight after…) Thank you again to our two guest speakers, Scott Rayner from Canada Life UK and Tim Randles from Penningtons Manches LLP. Their presentations helped our delegates further understand their areas of expertise: managing employee absence and employment law.
With the year drawing to a close it is enjoyable to reflect back on some of the venues we have visited and delegates we have met this year. Overall we have visited 12 incredible venues and been joined by 1,234 wonderful delegates. Definitely been a busy year for our events team!
Thank you to every single one of you that attended our events (some multiple times), it is very much appreciated and we hope to see you at future seminars.
We are always looking to take our seminars to the next level and love hearing from delegates, so if you have any comments on how we could improve or if you just want to discuss anything to do with our seminar program please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org Furthermore if you would like to be added to our mailing list for seminar invites also email this address.
In the near future we will be releasing a report on the findings we have collected throughout the year during our seminars, based on delegate’s responses to a variety of employee benefits related questions. We will also be releasing dates for the start of the upcoming 2017 Seminars, keep an eye out for both of these on our blog and twitter @JelfEB where we regularly post seminar updates.
